My Background
Coming from a family, on my mother's side, of artists and dressmakers I have always loved making beautiful things. For many years I taught art, design and textiles at secondary level. I loved teaching but now it is my time to really concentrate on my own practice.

I have an MA in Textile design and love to create garments and textiles with a novel twist. During my MA course I specialised in laser cutting textiles. In the last few years I have rediscovered painting and have developed my own way of portraying the British coast.

I paint scenes that I have known and loved since childhood but I love to travel and I have
fallen in love with the colour, people and architecture of India.
